Meet our Veterinarians :
Ryan K. Heaton, DVM CEVMMP
Elizabeth Fedorko, DVM
Dr. Libby Fedorko grew up in Trumbull, Connecticut. Her love of horses started at a very early age. As a young rider, she won Reserve Champion at the 1999 USEF Pony Finals. She then continued to compete in the hunter/jumper divisions along the east coast into high school and college. Libby attended the University of Connecticut and competed on the UConn Equestrian Team, riding as captain her senior year. In 2011 she graduated UConn with a B.S. in Animal Science.
Tara Doherty, DVM, CEVMMP, CVA
Ceyla Reynoso, MVZ, DVM
Dr. Reynoso completed her Veterinary degree at University of Baja California, Mexico in 2008, where she graduated at the top of her class. She completed a year of internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital and two years of internship at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center.
She acquired strong skills in equine anesthesia, intensive care, surgery, imaging and lameness working closely with Veterinarians at the top of their fields. After completing her internships, she started her own equine practice in Tijuana, Mexico where she grew up. While running her practice, she joined Mission Equine Hospital in San Juan Capistrano CA. Since then, she has worked mainly in the sport medicine field with both English and Western performance horses.
She joined our team in 2025, and is excited to help the horse population in our area. In her time off she loves traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Shiv Patil, BVM, MRCVS
Dr. Patil joined our team in 2026. He grew up in India and started riding horses from the age of 8. While he loves all animals, his passion for working with horses grew as he became involved in equine rescue and rehabilitation at a local sanctuary. Shiv moved to the UK for university where he pursued a degree in animal behaviour and welfare, before going on to complete his veterinary medicine degree, both at The Royal Veterinary College in London. He graduated in 2025.
As a child, he grew up visiting extended family in Orange County every summer, so when the time came to move on from London and start his career, Southern California was the best place to be! Outside of work Shiv enjoys rock climbing, exploring the neighbourhood, and spending time with his new horse Eddie.
Meet our Support Staff :
Michelle Jennings
Michelle joined the team as our Office Manager in September 2021 after nearly 15 years working in the same capacity at a small animal Emergency/Specialty hospital in town.
She enjoys her time outdoors by finding remote trails to ride any one of her three horses on, the more remote and challenging the better, much of this is done with her friends in the Roubideaux Riding Club. She also enjoys spending time with her dog Izzy, who you will likely have the chance to meet if you swing by the office for any reason. Horse camping with her human, equine and canine friends is also at the top of her to do list. You may also find her patrolling various areas on horseback while she volunteers her time with the Riverside County Mounted Posse – Lake Elsinore troop.
Izzy the Rottweiler
Izzy was a package deal when Michelle joined our team in 2021. You will usually find her sitting on the couch in the front office, waiting for someone to come visit us. You will also find her basking in the sun on the sidewalk outside of the office during one of the many breaks that she is allowed. She takes her job as Office Greeter very seriously and loves attention and treats.
Shelby Murray
Shelby joined our team in 2021. She works in the office part-time and assists Michelle with the day to day tasks to help ensure that everything is running smoothly.
She competes nationally in eventing with her own horses.
Miguel Sanchez
Jesse Felix
Jesse joined our team in 2022. He has been a great addition to the team and is always willing to help out the vets and make their day a little easier.
He has spent over 25 years in the horse industry. Together with his wife, they proudly run a small boarding and training facility. Horses, family, and their French bulldogs are a big part of his life. When he’s not at the ranch working horses, there’s a good chance you’ll find him enjoying time with his family at Disneyland.
Hannah Stanford
Hannah joined our team in 2025. She was born and raised here in Southern California. She has been an avid horse lover and rider from an early age, with an extensive history in competing both locally and nationally. She attended the University of California, San Diego to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology.
During school, she was a riding instructor and loved sharing her passion with her students. After graduating, she took time to become more involved in the horse industry and became an assistant trainer at a local show barn. Hannah aspires to attend vet school and become an equine veterinarian. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as riding her own horses and competing on the local circuit occasionally.
